Intake & Assessment Social Work

Each consumer meets with a social worker upon entering the Center for the first time.  An assessment is made of the individual or family's needs and referrals are made for the requested services.  The referrals are not limited to ASFSC programs, but may also include community agencies, churches, and non-profit organizations. The ASFSC does not provide concrete assistance with food, clothing, rent, or utilities.  However, we do furnish information on agencies that offer those items.  We do provide limited assistance for prescription medication (not pain medication)

An application must be completed to participate in any of the services at ASFSC.  Most services are offered at no cost.
